Position Description:

Baptist: SBC church in Warrensburg, Missouri is hiring a Minister to Students. The Student Minister at FBC Warrensburg is the full-time position responsible for the direct leading of the Student Life ministry. They will report directly to the Lead Pastor and Pastor of Discipleship, but will be under the authority of the entire eldership. Mission:  To glorify God through the service of His church by equipping the saints to do the work of the Gospel in the primary capacity of supplementing the discipleship students into healthy followers of Jesus and partners in the Gospel.

  • Proven ability to vision cast and equip leaders/volunteers to implement the vision
  • Proven ability to rightly teach God’s Word, particularly to students
  • Works well within a team but also is self-motivated and can self-manage

What the job will look like:

  • Oversee the discipleship and fellowship of the Student Ministry
  • Under leadership of the lead elder and discipleship elder, cast a one-year and five-year vision, with tangible and actionable goals, for the student ministry to ensure coordination of Sunday and Wednesday activities as well as with the wider family ministry mission and program
  • With the assistance of pertinent volunteers, design and oversee opportunities for spiritual growth and disciple-making, such as retreats, conferences, etc.
  • Lead as the primary teacher in Wednesday night ministry
  • With the assistance of pertinent volunteers, design and oversee Wednesday night student worship gathering
  • Equip student ministry leaders/volunteers and Gospel Communities for: Sunday and Wednesday teaching and discipleship of students
  • Personal mentorship with students
  • Incorporating students into the wider ministry of the church
  • Equip and develop relevant staff and volunteers
  • Develop strategy to recruit volunteers with assistance from staff

Position Description:

Forest Park Church in Joplin, Missouri is looking for a Campus Student Minister who will train, encourage, and grow staff and volunteers for the building up of the body of Christ (Eph. 4:11-13) as you implement the total church vision, strategy and values within your ministry department for Forest Park Church. The Student Minister’s job is to assist the Campus Pastor in oversight of the student ministry (along with other assigned ministry areas), develop leaders and ensure Forest Park Church’s standards are being implemented at the campus level. Director of Youth and Collegiate Ministries, Saint Joseph -MO

Position Description:

Wyatt Park Baptist Church is looking for their next Director of Youth and Collegiate Ministries. Responsible to the Pastor for the development and execution of a comprehensive program for youth and college ministries. Consult with other staff and program leaders concerning activities in their areas when youth and/or college students are involved.

There would be leadership, teaching and preaching opportunities outside student ministries if desired. The student ministry has a great facility that includes a worship area, game room, kitchen, game room and multiple classrooms. Would be willing to work around a student’s schedule.

Start at $50,000-60,000 a year.
