Position Description:
The Falls Church Anglican is seeking a full-time Missions and Outreach Coordinator whose responsibility will be to members of The Falls Church Anglican (TFCA) in relevant, meaningful, and productive Gospel-oriented service to our neighbors locally and globally. The Coordinator will be responsible for promoting activities, classes, and events to educate and to inspire others to be disciples of Jesus in a community of believers to fulfill the mission of the church. Recruiting, equipping, and leading teams of staff and members to love and serve our neighbors in practical ways, developing relationships, demonstrating hospitality, and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ will also be the responsibility of the Missions and Outreach Coordinator.Position Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with strong prioritization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic office applications and software
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 2 years’ experience coordinating ministry or volunteer activities
- Knowledge of targeted population’s needs and concerns
- Missions and/or outreach experience
