Position Description:
Limona Village Chapel UMC in Brandon, FL, is seeking a part-time custodian. Duties include:- General cleaning of church and preschool
- Light maintenance
- Set up/tear down for events
- Cleaning and stocking soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in all restrooms
- Ordering supplies when needed based on the budget allocated
- Addressing simple plumbing/HVAC/electrical or other repairs
- Other duties as required
Position Qualifications:
- Good working knowledge of the practices, procedures, supplies, and equipment used in cleaning offices, buildings, and related areas in an efficient and economical manner.
- Able to maintain the professional condition and appearance of facilities.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Able to work independently, without close supervision.
- Willing and able to pass drug-screening and background checks.
