Sabbath Hangover

What does Monday morning look like for youth ministers? Often it can be a toxic mixture of anxiety and excitement for the beginning of a new week, a new opportunity to make a difference in the world dampened by the length of the to-do list.  Forgotten is the message so warmly received from the day before – a message of hope and transformation spoken in churches all over the world. If that is you, then you are experiencing a spiritual hangover of sorts.  There are remnants of the day before.  But, most of it is lost in the busyness of a new day. This blog is intended to inspire a remembrance of that which is sacred, and encourage those that read to reflect on the truths of faith and practice.
